Advantages of Buying Refurbished 

Price — Comparing apples to apples, a refurbished piece of cleaning equipment is going to be less expensive than a new one. The relative advantage of a refurbished  machine can also allow a buyer to step up to a better spec’d model without a large price tag. 

Depreciation — Cleaning equipment, just like vehicles,  lose value with each passing month and hour, but the steepest decline happens right away; some models can lose 40 percent or more of their value in the first year. With a refurbished piece of cleaning equipment, there’s no depreciation hit the second you acquire it. There’s also less mental depreciation, no need to worry about your operators banging the machine into a wall and scratching the body because chances are the previous owner or owners took care of that for you (although we make as many necessary upgrades to ALL cosmetics as much as possible). 

Choice — Although you can’t build a refurbished machine to order, maybe you want a model, option package, or even a design that’s no longer made. This wider selection can add to the length of the search, but perfection and satisfaction rarely come easily.

Peace of mind- Our sourcing team acquires only the best used assets from various auctions, material handling groups, and end users. At the beginning of 2023, we have successfully sold over 2,500+ refurbished machines with less than a 1% return rate. We wouldn’t be in business if we didn’t know what we were doing. 

Our Process- We use only OEM parts in our refurbishing processes. We aren’t manufacturers but our technicians are factory certified and trained by the manufacturers. We only put in what is recommended by the manufacturers.   

Our Warranty- We offer our dead on arrival guarantee, 3 months parts and 1 year (prorated) on batteries for all machines.

Lead Time- Pre-pandemic, we use to floor stock various refurbished machines for immediate shipment. Based on our experience, we found that we were creating machines for a changing customer base that had alternative needs. As a result, we moved to a “build to order” model that allowed us to provide exactly what our customers needed within a short period of time. Post-pandemic, we are still feeling the effects of a strained supply chain. Staying true to our customers demands and navigating a strained supply chain, we make every effort to ship commercial products between 3-4 weeks and industrial products between 4-5 weeks. We also offer many used "As Is" options for immediate shipping. Please inquire within at sales@sweepscrub.com
